Grantmaking Priorities

  • Supports organizations that promote the teachings of Jesus Christ in full accordance with the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.

  • Prioritizes funding for Catholic and Church-affiliated institutions, including educational, religious, and apostolic initiatives.

  • Focuses primarily on smaller, private enterprises where funding can have significant mission impact.

  • Participates in governance or leadership for larger investments.

  • Invests in the promotion and support of priests, seminarians, and professed religious life.

  • Encourages initiatives that strengthen and form Catholic leaders.

  • Supports strategic projects that advance the long-term institutional presence of the Church.

The Foundation Will Not Fund

  • Organizations or programs not in full accord with the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.

  • Large, national or international public charities with substantial existing budgets (absent special collaborative circumstances).

  • General operating deficits or unrestricted operating expenses without a clearly defined project or measurable impact.

  • Individuals (including personal financial assistance, hardship grants, or direct aid to private persons).

  • Individual scholarships, tuition assistance, or sponsorships (unless part of a structured institutional partnership).

  • Endowments without a defined strategic purpose or governance participation, unless specifically invited.

  • Capital campaigns where the Foundation’s participation would not represent meaningful mission impact.

  • Events, galas, or sponsorship tables where support is primarily promotional in nature.

  • Organizations whose primary mission is not religious, educational, or aligned with the Foundation’s Catholic priorities.

  • Retroactive funding for projects or expenses already incurred.
